“I was overjoyed to see so many enthusiastic minds come together to share innovative ideas and practices that exemplify experiential learning. In addition to enhancing our scale of impact, this symposium had strengthened our understanding amongst community partners, colleagues and students,” remarked Dr. Albert Ko, Centre Director. “My sincere gratitude goes toward all speakers and participants, without whom this event would not have been successful.”

The symposium was built on the growing partnership between Community Partners and Faculty teachers, with support from our donor, Dr. Gallant Ho, in building a wide network of partners for the benefits of students and community members. The GHELC, established in March 2012, aims to facilitate and promote experiential learning at HKU and work with community partners both in and outside Hong Kong to identify projects for HKU students of different disciplines.
